The Fourcaster pickups are handcrafted with sand cast ALNICO 4 rod magnets and individually scatter wound with heavy formvar magnet wire to produce full and rich bell like tones without ever becoming harsh or strident. Alnico 4 reacts similar to Alnico 5 magnets that have been weakened, and because of this the Fourcasters have a warmer tone reminiscent of an old pickup that has naturally degaussed over many years.

Deluxe Version - The standard “Fourcaster” version is wound to vintage specs. The Fourcaster "Deluxe” version has an overwound bridge pickup for increased output and bass response.

RWRP - This option will give you noise canceling in the 2 and 4 positions when buying a set. Clockwise coils with North up magnets is our standard wind. RWRP have counter-clockwise coils with South up magnets

Aged Poles - With this option the alnico rod magnets are patinaed which gives the pickups an aged look. When you choose aged poles the pickups also will come with aged mounting hardware (screws).

Covers - Choose between Parchment, Black or White covers. They have 2 1/16" (52.2 mm) spaced pole spread and are interchangeable with many other aftermarket covers.
